Dr. Bouris John is a professor in management science at Athens Institute of Technology. He started his professional career in 1982 and he has working experience in various public and private industries as a senior executive officer. He received his B.B.A. in 1977 from Economic University of Athens (ASOEE), his M.B.A. in 1980 from University of San Francisco California, USA and Ph.D. in management science from University of Athens. His research focuses on Managing Human Resources, Leadership, Project Management, Quantitative methods and Organizational Performance. He has published articles, lectured, and consulted in these topics with an emphasis on project management.
Kapellou Lena was born in Athens. She is a graduate of the American College of Greece-PIERCE. She has a B.A in English Language and Literature (Kapodistrian University of Athens), a B.A in Philosophy (Kapodistrian University of Athens), a Diploma in Applied Linguistics and the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (University of Essex, U.K.) and an M.Sc. in Computational Linguistics (Kapodistrian University of Athens and National Technical University of Athens).She has had a long experience in teaching English and, more specifically, English for Specific Purposes. She has worked in the following Institutions: Hellenic Air Force Technical NCO Academy, Hellenic Air Force Radio Navigators Academy, Hellenic Air Force Academy, Sivitanidios Public School of Trades and Vocations. She also taught the Greek language to the Libyan students in the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education, Athens, Greece. She has been toughing Research Paper Writing in the Faculty of English Language and Literature of the Kapodistrian University of Athens. for three years.Since 1984, she has been teaching the English language in the Technological Educational Institution of Athens.In addition to teaching, she does translations, editing and proofreading, mostly scientific articles, texts and books.
Dr. Katsoni Vicky got her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the National University of Athens in 1988. In 1990 she got her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Keele University in a Joint Supervision Course with Nottingham University, United Kingdom and her Ph.D in Marketing Management and ICTs in Tourism from the Panteion University of Athens. She has a 16 years working experience in various managerial positions in the tourism industry. She has been working as a Lecturer at the Tourism Department of TEI since 1991, and today is an Assistant Professor at TEI of Athens and a Visitor Professor at Krems University of Applied Sciences, Austria. She has published 7 books in tourism and has many refereed articles in several international journals. She is working as specialist on Tourism Education and Network Development Committee for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and as a researcher for the Ministry of Development, for the 3rd EU Framework Programme, in the Operational Programme of Competitiveness.
Dr. Kavoura Nicky ΒΑ Philosophy Education Psychology (4 year undergraduate bachelor programme) University of Ioannina Greece, MSc Media Management (1 year full time programme) University of Stirling, Scotland, UK, Phd in Communication and Culture University of Stirling, Scotland, UK (funding from the Greek States Scholarship Foundation after panhellenic written examinations).Androniki Kavoura holds the position of Ast. Professor, Department of Marketing, Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Greece since 2007 (4 year bachelor undergraduate programme) and she is Head of the Department of Marketing since 2011. She is academic coordinator of LLP/ERASMUS. She has initiated more than 30 Bilateral Agreements within European Universities under ERASMUS/ LLP studies and she has been invited to teach in many European and American Universities. She teaches at a Master Degree Programme in the Greek Open University since 2007. She has published in academic peer-reviewed journals and has edited book chapters in well-known publishing houses. She is reviewer in a number of academic journals and member of Scientific Committees of International Conferences. Her research interests include communication, advertising, tourism, cultural heritage management, destination marketing and e-branding.
Dr Kiriakidis Stavros has a PhD in Social Psychology University of Stirling, MSc in Psychology and Health, University of Stirling BSc (Hons) Psychology; He has been lecturing in University of Macedonia, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. University of Thessaly, Department of Special Education. University of Patras, Department of Management University of the Aegean, ATEI of Athens. Department of Marketing. ATEI of Pireus. ATEI of Thessaloniki. University of Stirling. He has been lecturing in Human Resource Management (undergraduate & postgraduate) and Organisational Behavior, Social Pychology, Social Psychology (ERASMUS) & Political Communication. His work has been published in Family & Community Health, European Psychologist, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology, Crisis The Journal of Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention, International Journal of Special Education, International Journal For Epidemiology αnd Psychiatric Sciences. His postgraduate studies were financially supported by a scholarship by the Greek State Scholarship Foundation (IKY).
Dr. Pierrakos George is Assistant Professor Department of Health and Welfare Units Administration Faculty of Management and Economics Technological Educational Institution (ΤEI) of Athens. He holds a BA in Nursing and Ph.D from the Faculty of Political Science & Public Administration of University of Athens. He has participated in several Research Programs of the European Union and the University of Athens. He has worked as a Senior Consultant in the public sector, participating in several projects either as project manager or an expert. He has been a member and coordinator of various research teams, working for the University of Athens and the Institute of civil, economic and social researches. He is an expert of International Council of Nursing (ICN). In May 2001, he participated in the interstate program of the European Union TEMPUS JEP 10412-98 and took part in a mission to Siberia for the training of doctors, in the management and organization of Hospital units and health systems. Since October 2005, he works for the Athens Technical Institute as a research fellow, having attained the level of the assistant professor, for a total of 12 hours per week. Also he contributes to research programs and consulting projects. He has substantial teaching experience in the topics of Health Systems Organization, Nursing and Quality of life, in the University of Athens and has been the author and co-author of several publications.
