Partner search under the Horizon 2020 programme
The University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom is looking for partners in order to submit a project proposal under the Horizon
2020 Programme, pillar “Industrial Leadership – Information and
Communication Technologies” (Call identifier: H2020-ICT-2016-2017 ) under the topic: ICT-39-2016-2017: International partnership building in low and middle income countries (https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal4/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/ict-39-2016-2017.html).
In
working directly with African academic institutions and researchers,
the project will facilitate mentoring, research training and capacity
building, thereby enhancing intellectual self-sufficiency and
sustainable African solutions to African problems. The project will
develop and populate an ecosystem of informal collaborative digital
learning technologies adapted and appropriate to the varied cultures and
conditions in local society in order to increase economic, scientific,
institutional, industrial and agricultural self-sufficiency and
self-reliance, and thus reduce reliance on external aid and
inappropriate expertise.
Types of partners sought: Legal entities with expertise in research design, educational development, technology expertise, or domain expertise.
Deadline for proposal submission: 25 April 2017

Πρόταση συνεργασίας στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Ορίζοντας 2020
Το Πανεπιστήμιο του Wolverhampton στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, αναζητά εταίρους για την υποβολή πρότασης στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος Ορίζοντας 2020, πυλώνας «Industrial Leadership» στο πλαίσιο της πρόσκλησης υποβολής προτάσεων «Information and Communication Technologies» (Αναγνωριστικός Κωδικός: H2020-ICT-2016-2017 ), στη θεματική: ICT-39-2016-2017: International partnership building in low and middle income countries (https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal4/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/ict-39-2016-2017.html).
Μέσω
της άμεσης συνεργασίας με τα αφρικανικά ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα και
ερευνητές, το σχέδιο θα διευκολύνει την καθοδήγηση, την ερευνητική
κατάρτιση και την ανάπτυξη ικανοτήτων, ενισχύοντας έτσι την πνευματική
αυτάρκεια και τις βιώσιμες λύσεις στα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει η
Αφρική. Το σχέδιο θα αναπτύξει και θα συμπληρώσει ένα οικοσύστημα άτυπων
συνεργατικών ψηφιακών τεχνολογιών εκμάθησης προσαρμοσμένες και
κατάλληλες για τις διαφορετικές κουλτούρες και συνθήκες που επικρατούν
στην τοπική κοινωνία, προκειμένου να ενισχύσει την οικονομική,
επιστημονική, θεσμική, βιομηχανική και γεωργική αυτάρκεια και
αυτοδυναμία, και με τον τρόπο αυτό να μειώσει την εξάρτηση από εξωτερική
βοήθεια και ακατάλληλη τεχνογνωσία.
Ως εταίροι αναζητούνται: Νομικές
οντότητες με εμπειρία στο σχεδιασμό έρευνας, στην εκπαιδευτική
ανάπτυξη, τεχνογνωσία στις τεχνολογίες, ή τεχνογνωσία πεδίου (domain).
Προθεσμία υποβολής προτάσεων: 25 Απριλίου 2017
