Partner search under the Horizon 2020 programme
Samsø Municipality in Denmark is looking for partners and a lead partner in order to submit a project proposal under the Horizon
2020 Programme, pillar “Societal Challenges – 9. Food security,
sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland
water research and the bioeconomy”, Call: Bio-based innovation for sustainable goods and services - supporting the development of a European bioeconomy (Call identifier: H2020-BB-2016-2017 ) under the topic: BB-08-2017: Strategies for improving the bioeconomy knowledge of the general public (http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/bb-08-2017.html).
The
Danish Island Samsø has a strong brand internationally as Renewable
Energy Island heading towards fossil free island by 2030. The project
aims to develop a new attraction telling the story of circular island
economy transition, where farming nutrients, food industry, waste and
energy sectors are integrated via a biogas plant to deliver fossil-free
liquefied biomethane for the ferry.
Types of partners sought:
Farmers, food industry, ferry company, municipality, local business
representatives. Samsø is looking for lead partner and parallel projects
in other aspects of bioeconomy knowledge dissemination and teaching.
Deadline for proposal submission: 14 February 2017
