Horizon 2020 – Societal Challenges – Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy, Call: “Energy Efficiency 2017” –
H2020-EE-2017
Objective and description
New
topics have been opened for submission of proposals under the Horizon
2020 Programme within the pillar “Societal Challenges”, under the work
programme “Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy”, within the call for
proposals “Energy Efficiency 2017”, (Call identifier: H2020-EE-2017).
The call for proposals refers to the following topics:
· EE-02-2017: Improving the performance of inefficient district heating networks (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-06-2016-2017: Engaging private consumers towards sustainable energy (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-09-2016-2017: Engaging and activating public authorities (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-11-2016-2017: Overcoming market barriers and promoting deep renovation of buildings (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-14-2016-2017: Construction skills (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-15-2017: Increasing capacities for actual implementation of energy efficiency measures in industry and services (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-16-2016-2017: Effective implementation of EU product efficiency legislation (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-18-2017: Energy efficiency of industrial parks through energy cooperation and mutualised energy services (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-19-2017: Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions for energy efficiency (PPI Public Procurement of Innovative solutions)
· EE-22-2016-2017: Project Development Assistance (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-23-2017: Innovative financing schemes (CSA Coordination and Support action)
· EE-24-2016-2017: Making the energy efficiency market investible (CSA Coordination and Support action)
Eligible applicants
For “CSA Coordination and support actions”, the eligible partner could be at least one legal entity established in an EU Member State or Horizon 2020 associated country.
For “PPI Public Procurement of Innovative solutions” the eligible partners are: At least three legal entities. Each of the three must be established in a different EU Member State or Horizon 2020 associated country. All three legal entities must be independent of each other. Furthermore, there
must be a minimum of two legal entities which are ‘public procurers’
from two different EU Member States or Horizon 2020 associated
countries. Both legal entities must be independent of each other.
Budget
· For the topic EE-02-2017. The total budget is EUR 4 million. The Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-06-2016-2017. The total budget is EUR 5 million. The Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-09-2016-2017. The total budget is EUR 7 million. The Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-11-2016-2017, the Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-14-2016-2017, the Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 0.5 and 1 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
The total budget for topics EE-11-2016-2017 and EE-14-2016-2017 is EUR 8 million.
· For the topic EE-15-2017, the Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-16-2016-2017, the Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-18-2017, the Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
The total budget for topics EE-15-2017, EE-16-2016-2017 and EE-18-2017 is EUR 11 million.
· For the topic EE-19-2017. The total budget is EUR 4 million. The Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-22-2016-2017. The total budget is EUR 8 million. Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 0.5 and 1.5 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
· For the topic EE-23-2017, the Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 2 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
For the topic EE-24-2016-2017, the Commission considers that proposals requesting a contribution from the EU between EUR 1 and 1.5 million would allow this specific challenge to be addressed appropriately.
The total budget for topics EE-23-2017and EE-24-2016-2017 is EUR 8 million.
Funding rates:
CSA Coordination and support actions: 100%
PPI Public Procurement of Innovative solutions: The
funding rate for PPI actions is limited to 35% of the total eligible
costs to leverage co-financing from the procurers in this specific case.
Deadline for proposals’ submission
The deadline for all the topics is 7 June 2017, 17:00 (Brussels local time).
Applicants must submit their proposal electronically, following the link on the submission service.
