Partner search under the Erasmus+ KA 2: Strategic Partnerships
NursingUp, the Italian Nurse Labour Association, is looking for a lead partner in order to submit a project proposal under the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2: Strategic Partnerships – Adult Education http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/opportunities-for-organisations/innovation-good-practices/strategic-partnerships_en.
The project “Fostering language and intercultural education for nurses and healthcare staff” supports the acquisition
of basic skills (language and communication), the social inclusion
through a training in intercultural skills and ultimately increase the
competitiveness of healthcare professionals in the world of work through
the recognition at European level of acquired skills. The
project's specific objective is to train and support the socio-health
personnel (nurses, social workers and hospital social workers) in
communication with the patient and his family. On the one hand, allowing
gaining skills that make you able to work successfully in other
European Countries, and on the other hand by providing specific
expertise to manage patients from very different cultural backgrounds
than their own (eg. From third countries, refugees, migrants). The
ultimate goal of this project will be to support collaboration between
professional trainers and nursing field workers in order to identify and
test new types of language education and intercultural mediation
applicable to health professionals and giving the personnel the chance
to adjust their skills to a greater international dimension of their
profession.
Types of partners sought: A lead partner who can undertake the coordination of the project.
Deadline for proposal submission: 29 March 2017
