Partner search under Horizon 2020 / Territorial Cooperation / Culture

Bergueda County Council in Catalonia, Spain, is looking for partners in order to submit a project proposal under Horizon 2020 or Territorial Cooperation or Culture programme.

The project "From cultural heritage to an innovation hub" aims to connect the existence of unique industrial heritage with the opportunity to promote "new drivers" to boost a new innovative ecosystem.

The vision and the challenge is to go far beyond simple conservation, restoration, physical rehabilitation or repurposing of a site and to demonstrate heritage potential as a powerful economic, social and environmental catalyst for regeneration, sustainable development, economic growth and improvement of people's well-being and living environments.

The main objectives will be:

• To promote a cultural living lab 
• To promote a media hub
• To stimulate new startups companies
• To create an incubator connected with the academia and enterprises
• To create a bridge between territorial and functional rationales. Where our purpose is both to move the community as a stakeholder and to introduce new dynamics like living lab, fab lab or culture hub...

Partners sought: Public or private actors or Universities with an industrial heritage which aim to realize a valorization of this old industrial districts based on the triple helix: innovation, entrepreneurship and culture. Experience in European Programmes is desired.
