Objectives and description
The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the European Commission wishes to enter a service contract for the creation of a “Blueprint for sectoral cooperation on skills in tourism: enhancing the image of careers in the tourism sector.” - EASME/EMFF/2017/012
The contract aims to boost employment and employability in the tourism sector, overcome the mismatches between the supply and demand for labour in the tourism labour market, and support quality jobs in tourism.
The specific objectives of this call for tenders are to:
- facilitate the upgrade of skills
- enhance visibility and upscale the use of existing tools and initiatives
- improve the image of tourism careers
- help jobseekers understand the positive aspects of tourism careers
- help entrepreneurs in the tourism sector to reinforce positive aspects of tourism careers and to attract new and adequate talents.
Eligible participants - Minimum conditions
Natural and legal persons from one of the EU Member States and all natural and legal persons in a third country which has a special agreement with the European Union in the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that agreement.
Funding conditions and duration
The estimated value is 800 000.00 EUR excluding VAT.
The total duration of the contract is 12 months and is not subject to renewal
Deadline of proposals' submission
The deadline for submission of tenders is 12 June 2017.
Tenders must be submitted:
- Either by post. In this case the postmark will be proof of compliance with the deadline.
- Or by Courier. In this case the deposit slip of the courier office will constitute proof of compliance with the deadline.
- Or by Hand Delivery. In this case Proof of receipt, signed and dated by the official in the central mail department who takes delivery will constitute proof of compliance with the deadline.
