Dear all,
I am pleased to invite you to a Workshop in Brussels on 13-14 June 2017, jointly organised by the European Commission and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
This
workshop will allow you to participate in developing a new online
toolkit together with the European Commission and the OECD. The tool
will be aimed at supporting the design and implementation of social
entrepreneurship policies and programmes at local, regional and national
levels. During the event the invited policy makers and practitioners
will have an opportunity to review and provide feedback on various
elements of a preliminary version of the tool, notably its
self-assessment component. The working language of the workshop will be
English.
This event is part of a wider programme of work on
social entrepreneurship policy that has produced a set of policy briefs,
capacity building seminars, country-specific policy assessments and a
good practice compendium book. Additional information on this work
programme can be found at the OECD’s and the European Commission’s
websites at:
http://www.oecd.org/cfe/leed/social-entrepreneurship-oecd-ec.htm and
http://ec.europa.eu/social/main.jsp?catId=952&intPageId=2914&langId=en
Please find a preliminary draft agenda here. Further
information on the online tool will be shared with registered
participants in due time. To confirm your participation please follow THIS LINK to the registration form as soon as possible.
The
Commission will organise travel and accommodation. To this end, our
travel agency will contact registered participants directly. Please do not make any travel or accommodation arrangements or buy tickets directly, as the Commission will not provide reimbursements for directly purchased tickets or accommodation.
Please
note that this event is by invitation only. However, if you are unable
to participate or consider that somebody else from your organisation is
better placed, you may pass the invitation to this person in your
organisation and inform us about it.
I thank you in advance for your co-operation and look forward to seeing you in Brussels. My colleagues Risto Raivio (Risto.RAIVIO@ec.europa.eu tel. +32 2 2951311) or Guy Lejeune (guy.lejeune@ec.europa.eu tel. +32 2 2993360) will be happy to answer your questions concerning the content of the workshop.
Yours sincerely,
