technologies and digitisation: opportunities and challenges for the
social economy and social enterprises” - EASME/COSME/2017/024

Objectives and description
The
Executive Agency for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (EASME) of the
European Commission has published a call for tenders concerning “New
technologies and digitisation: opportunities and challenges for the
social economy and social enterprises” - EASME/COSME/2017/024.
The goal of this call for tenders is to
study, benchmark, diffuse initiatives (private or public)/policies on
the global, European/national level with a view to promoting successful
approaches to social economy and social enterprises in order to:
· reinforce their e-skills and the uptake of new technologies in their entrepreneurial strategy,
· discuss opportunities and challenges they face in that field,
· diffuse best practices targeting both private and public stakeholders.
The main results expected are the following:
· Getting
a better understanding of the ways in which policies and initiatives
supporting the digitalisation and the uptake of new technologies for
social economy and social enterprises can be designed at EU and national
levels;
· Helping the EU and Member States in designing and implementing policies and measures for the promotion of those measures;
· Encouraging the uptake of innovative technologies for the social economy and social enterprises;
· Exchanging
ideas and practices on how new technologies inspire the social economy
and how can such technologies can be inspired by the social economy’s
practices;
· Facilitating the identification, the promotion and the uptake of best practices;
The
tenderers are expected to propose in their tenders an innovative and
relevant methodology with coherent and well-identified tasks to address
all these requirements.
Eligible participants - Minimum conditions
Natural and legal persons
from one of the EU Member States and all natural and legal persons in a
third country which has a special agreement with the European Union in
the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that
agreement.
Funding conditions and duration
The estimated value is 250.000 EUR excluding VAT and is not subject to renewal.
The maximum duration of the tasks is 12 months.
Deadline of proposals' submission
The deadline for submission of tenders is 17 November 2017.
You
must submit your tender exclusively on paper, in one original and 2
copies (one of them not bound) and a CD Rom or USB stick.
Tenders must be submitted:
- Either by post. In this case the postmark will be proof of compliance with the deadline.
- Or by Courier. In this case the deposit slip of the courier office will constitute proof of compliance with the deadline.
- Or by Hand Delivery.
In this case Proof of receipt, signed and dated by the official in the
central mail department who takes delivery will constitute proof of
compliance with the deadline.
