Partner search under Horizon 2020 programme

 

The University of Strasbourg, in France, is looking for partners in order to submit a project proposal under the Horizon 2020 programme, Science with and for Society, Call topic SwaftS-09-2018-2019: Supporting research organisations to implement gender equality plans http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/data/ref/h2020/wp/2018-2020/main/h2020-wp1820-swfs_en.pdf.

 

The project aims at implementing Gender Equality Plan (GEP) in research organisations and universities as “drivers” for systemic institutional changes, removing barriers to the recruitment, retention and career progression of female researchers, referring to the GEAR tool of the European Commission. The proposed GEPs structure will include at least the following: Conduct assessment / audit of procedures and practices with relevant data to identify gender bias at organisation level; Implement effective actions to be developed over time, according to the identified bias; Set targets and monitor progress via indicators at organisation level.

 

Partners sought: Academic partners, Professional associations interested in the issue of gender equality, Research funding organisations.

 

Deadline for proposal submission: the call will open on 5 December 2017 with deadline 10 April 2018
