Call: “Transforming European Industry” – H2020-NMBP-TR-IND-2018-2020
Objective and description
New
topics have been opened for submission of proposals under the Call
“Transforming European Industry” (Call identifier:
H2020-NMBP-TR-IND-2018-2020) of Horizon 2020 Programme within the pillar
Industrial Leadership –. Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials,
Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing Work Programme
2018-2020.
The purpose of this call is
to transform European industry through the integration of digitisation
and other enabling technologies and achieve global industrial
leadership. Success will be seen in global industrial leadership,
notably in manufacturing, and in opportunities for re-industrialisation.
The call covers:
· the
manufacturing process itself, ranging from manufacturing excellence and
flexibility to increased reliability, accuracy and durability, from
improving energy efficiency and re-use of materials or re-manufacturing
to skills development and novel ways for human-machine interaction;
· the development of emerging and potentially disruptive biotechnologies;
· the development of medical technologies for diagnosis and treatment.
The call for proposals refers to the following topics:

Eligible applicants
For both “RIA Research and Innovation actions” as well as “IA Innovation actions” the eligible partners are: at least three legal entities established in a different Member State or associated country. All three legal entities shall be independent of each other.
For “CSA Coordination and support actions”, the eligible partner could be at least one legal entity established in an EU Member State or Horizon 2020 associated country.
Budget
Funding rates:
RIA Research and Innovation actions: 100%
IA Innovation actions: 70% (except for non-profit legal entities, where a rate of 100% applies)
CSA Coordination and support actions: 100%
CSA Coordination and support action: EUR 2 million
RIA Research and Innovation action: EUR 30 million
RIA Research and Innovation action: EUR 10 million
CSA Coordination and support action: EUR 2 million
RIA Research and Innovation action: EUR 79 million
RIA Research and Innovation action: EUR 79 million
IA Innovation action: EUR 79 million
RIA Research and Innovation action: EUR 24 million
Deadline for proposals’ submission
The deadline for topic CE-BIOTEC-04-2018 is 25 April 2018, 17:00 (Brussels local time).
The deadline for topics BIOTEC-01-2018, DT-FOF-01-2018, DT-FOF-02-2018, DT-FOF-03-2018, DT-FOF-04-2018 is 22 February 2018, 17:00 (Brussels local time).
Both topics BIOTEC-03-2018 and NMBP-22-2018 have two-stage submission scheme. First deadline is 23 January 2018, 17:00 (Brussels local time). Second deadline for the proposals that passed the first-stage evaluation is 28 June 2018, 17:00 (Brussels local time).
For two-stage submission schemes,
you must submit a ‘short outline proposal’ for the first stage and you
will be invited to submit your ‘full proposal’ for the second stage, if
you pass the first-stage evaluation.
