Brief Curriculum Vitae
Maro Sinou is Assistant Professor in Technological Educational Institute of Athens in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, School of Interior Architecture Decoration and Design. She studied Interior Design in TEI of Athens and Architecture in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her post graduate studies took place in the University of Cambridge, School of Architecture, Martin Centre for Architectural and Urban Studies where she took the MPhil in Environmental Design and the PhD under the title “Design and Thermal Diversity of Semi-enclosed Urban Spaces”. Her research interests include Environmental Space Design and Environmental Design of outdoor urban spaces. She has participated in several research programs such as RUROS with University of Cambridge, Life and ESPON with Panteion University in Athens etc. She has many publications in national and international conferences and journals and has contributed in several books with a chapter or article. Also she hold a private Architectural and Interior Design practice which focuses in the design of spaces with environmental criteria. She is the publications manager of SDMed.
