CE230. Civil Engineering Design - CAD (ects: 5)

The course aims at giving to the student the knowledge he needs to be able to design properly and in accordance with regulations the various technical works. Also aim is to make him familiar with the theory upon which the systems C.A.D. (Computer Aided Design) have been developed, so that not to function as a simple user of design software but to know the basic principles and their philosophy. Aim of the course is the student to develop the ability to read technical drawings and learn about the environment of C.A.D. programs. Through laboratory exercises he will acquire skills both in technically and in computerized design which will help him at the specialty courses that he will follow in further studies and in his careers.
