CE751. Repair, Strengthening & Inspection (NDT/NDE) (ects: 4)

The Repair, Strengthening & Inspection course aims in understanding the pathology of constructions damaged by earthquakes or other causes, the proper evaluation of damaged elements (either NDT/NDE or not) of steel or reinforced concrete bodies and parts, and repair methods available. Emphasis is also given on developing methods for strategic interventions in relation with the existing standards in order to take the optimal decisions.
