Partner search under the Erasmus+ Sport

 

Malaga City Council together with Andalusian Swimming Federation, in Spain, are looking for partners in order to submit a project proposal under the Erasmus+ programme, Sport Action - Not-for-profit European Sport events not related to the European Week of Sport http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-plus/actions/sport/not-for-profit-european-sport-events_en.      

 

The project “EQUATIC” will promote gender equality through the exercise of aquatic sports. The purpose of the project is to organise and develop a not-for-profit European sport event, to be held in the city of Málaga (Spain). It will be based on aquatics sports and will serve to promote the maximum expression of gender equality in sport, which is the development of different competitions through gender balanced senior teams (men and women), coming from different European countries.

Types of partners sought: Regional public bodies or non-profit organizations active in the field of sport (regional federations, clubs, etc.) that are able to send a delegation to compete in the event, and thus, to join the project. These delegations will be able to participate in any of the aquatic disciplines considered (at least one), with preference to those entities that are able to send teams (senior and gender balanced is a must) to compete in the largest number of disciplines as possible. The expenses of the delegation’s participation will be funded to an 80% by the EQUATIC’s project budget.

 

Deadline for proposal submission: 6 April 2017
