“Curriculum guidelines for key enabling technologies (KET) and advanced manufacturing technologies (AMT)” - EASME/COSME/2017/004

Objectives and description

EASME wishes to procure services for the development, promotion and implementation of European curriculum guidelines (with proposals for relevant quality labels) for key enabling technologies (KET), with a particular focus on advanced manufacturing technologies (AMT).

 

KETs include six key technologies: micro and nanoelectronics, nanotechnology, industrial biotechnology, advanced materials, photonics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

 

The goal is to contribute to increasing the quality and relevance of existing curricula and to promote better cooperation between industry and education and training organisations.

 

The tasks will be carried out at the contractor's premises except for a number of workshops and meetings as well as the final conference to be held in Brussels.

 

Eligible participants - Minimum conditions                                                                                                                       

Natural and legal persons from one of the EU Member States and all natural and legal persons in a third country which has a special agreement with the European Union in the field of public procurement on the conditions laid down in that agreement.

 

Funding conditions and duration

The estimated total value is 500 000.00 EUR excluding VAT.

 

The duration of the contract is 24 months and is not subject to renewal.

 

Deadline of proposals' submission

The deadline for submission of tenders is 3 July 2017.

 

Tenders must be submitted:

  • Either by post. In this case the post office stamp, the date of dispatch or the date of the deposit slip will be proof of compliance with the deadline.
  • Or by Courier. In this case the deposit slip of the courier office will constitute proof of compliance with the deadline
  • Or by Hand Delivery. In this case Proof of receipt, signed and dated by the official in the central mail department who takes delivery will constitute proof of compliance with the deadline
