Please find below information about the “HousErasmus+ project Final Conference: At home in Europe: Accommodate international students” that will take place in Brussels, on 21-22 September 2017.
The Conference Organisers are seeking workshop facilitators for the following 1,5-hour workshops that will take place as part of the Conference:
· Workshop
2: City - University collaboration: What are the benefits of
collaborating with the City on international student housing?
· Workshop 3: Managing expectations of students: How to cater to what the students need and what they are looking for?
The participation in the Conference is free of charge.

The HousErasmus+ project Final Conference: At home in Europe: Accommodate international students! will take place in Brussels, 21-22 September 2017.
The event is the culmination of a 2-year HousErasmus+ project:
Improving Mobility and Accommodation, co-funded by the Erasmus+
programme under the Key Action 3: Forward-Looking Cooperation. The
project is coordinated by Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and involves 3
university networks as partners: UNICA, European University Foundation,
and Compostela Group of Universities.
The
2-day programme of the Conference includes capacity-building workshops,
panel discussions, presentation of the HousErasmus+ research results
and the subsequent recommendations formulated to improve the
international student housing in Europe. For preliminary programme and

This Conference is open to:
· university professionals of all levels, especially those involved in international relations and student services:
We welcome Vice-Rectors for Internationalisation and Student Affairs,
Heads of International Relations and Student Services, staff members in
charge of international welcome desks and student welcome services,
those involved in cooperation with external housing providers and
supporting international students in finding accommodation,
· representatives of municipalities and city/region authorities
providing support for foreign citizens (including students) arriving to
the city/region or working on new policies to support new arrivals and
welcoming foreign citizens to the city/region,
· housing providers,
· policy makers and other stakeholders in the field of International student housing.
►We
kindly ask you to pass this announcement to your colleagues/university
representatives who might be interested in attending the Conference.
►If
you know of any city/region representatives for whom this Conference
may be relevant, please share their contact details with us so that we
can extend an invitation to them as well.
CALL FOR WORKSHOP FACILITATORS

The Conference Organisers are seeking workshop facilitators for the following 1,5-hour workshops that will take place as part of the Conference:

If
you are interested in taking up the role of the facilitator and
conducting a 1,5-hour interactive workshop on one of the two topics,
please send a short workshop proposal (220-300 words in total) to marta.wasowska@unica-network.eu by Friday 30 June 2017 including:
· short
introduction/bio of the facilitator (with focus on your work in the
area of international student support and student housing)
· workshop's aims and key questions you would like to address
· participants' involvement: short description of how you plan to make the participants interact during the workshop
· equipment needed for the workshop
Co-facilitated workshop applications will be considered.
The participation in the Conference is free of charge.
You can apply for financial support to attend the Conference (contribution to the costs of travel and accommodation). To do that, please send an email via the HE+ Conference contact form:
· providing your motivation to attend the workshop and how the Conference matches your professional development needs
· outlining your professional activities in the area of international student support and student housing
· indicating the number of international students your institution hosts each semester.
