The European Office of Cyprus has recently joined UniLion, an informal network of 34 Brussels Liaison Offices of Universities collaborating together and representing more than 100 Universities. The activities of UniLion are among others: knowledge sharing, joint proposals, intelligence on Brussels/EU affairs, informal platform for debates, European Commission presentations on policy and funding issues, etc.

 

The UniLiON Brexit Working Group has created a questionnaire on “Brexit and its consequences on collaboration between European universities and British universities”. Could you please complete the survey on behalf of your institution by Friday, 3 November 2017? The link to the questionnaire is the following:

There are only 10 questions, it shouldn’t take a long time to complete it. You don’t need to answer all the questions. You can choose the questions you would like to answer. The questionnaire can be completed anonymously if you wish so.

 

The UniLiON Brexit Working Group is led by the White Rose university consortium (Universities of Leeds, Sheffield & York https://brussels.whiterose.ac.uk/) that will draft and share a report based on the responses received.

 

Please, find attached a Factsheet on Brexit, provided by the UK Research Office. It reflects the current understanding of the UK situation with regards to Horizon 2020 and other EU funding programmes in research, innovation and higher education.
