ΠΡΟΣΚΛΗΣΗ

Το Τμήμα Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων προσκαλεί τους φοιτητές με βαθμολογία από 7.5 και άνω, με γνώσεις Αγγλικής γλώσσας  και οι οποίοι θα επιθυμούσαν να ασχοληθούν ως διοικητικά στελέχη ή ως στελέχη οικονομικών υπηρεσιών (ορκωτοί λογιστές) να στείλουν επιβεβαίωση της συμμετοχής τους στην εκδήλωση “ ICAEW careers networking and business game event”  που θα γίνει την Τρίτη 8 Μαΐου στο Athens Plaza hotel.

Η εκδήλωση διοργανώνεται από το Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) (Ινστιτούτο Ορκωτών Λογιστών της Αγγλίας και Ουαλίας) ο οποίος είναι ο μεγαλύτερος επαγγελματικός φορέας λογιστών στην Ευρώπη. Λεπτομέρειες για την εκδήλωση μπορείτε να βρείτε στο κείμενο που ακολουθεί.

We are hosting an ICAEW careers networking and business game event which will take place on Tuesday 8 May from 3,30pm until 7.30pm at NJV Athens Plaza hotel and we would like to invite you to select 10-15 of your most talented students to participate.

This event is a unique opportunity for participating students to network with potential employers, demonstrate their employability skills, learn about a career in chartered accountancy, add participation to their CV and compete against other students from prestigious universities locally to win a range of prizes sponsored by the participating firms.

We have invited a small number of employers to attend who are actively looking to recruit new ACA students for 2018. We want to attract your top talent and help connect them with local employers. We therefore ask that all students participating bring a copy of an up to date CV and attend dressed in smart business attire.  

On the day, in teams of 5 or 6, students will compete in one of our successful business games where they will take on the role of chartered accountants and develop strategic advice in response to a real life business issue, which is modelled on the final ACA exam, the Case Study.

Each team will be allocated with a recently qualified professional to mentor them through the tasks and the students’ performance will be assessed throughout the business game by a panel of 6 judges who will be acting as the company’s Board of Directors. They will be assessed in a range of areas, including teamwork, leadership, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills. The judges attending will be the firms Talent and Training Partner and to whom students’ will present their recommendations to.

After the business game we will hold an employer careers fair where students will have the opportunity to meet potential employers, learn about available ACA training opportunities and present their CV’s.

Based on the students’ performance over the day, the judges will award the top students with a prize that will be sponsored by the firms attending. We hope you agree this is a fantastic opportunity for students that are career driven, ambitious, interested in a career in accountancy, finance and business to look at career opportunities with some of the best employers in Greece.

We would be very grateful if you could confirm your interest in participating by 23 March and it would be very helpful if you could send us the confirmed names of participating students by 8 April.
