AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
A theoretical and practical approach to the construction of furniture that aims to the fulfillment of aesthetic as well as functional requirements.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
A thorough study of the construction of fixed or mobile furniture based on the analysis of the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of materials such as wood, metal, plastic, fabric, paper, glass, etc., and an approach to traditional, modern and contemporary manufacturing techniques. In particular, the course examines connecting elements and supporting mechanisms as part of the aesthetic appearance of the furniture.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
To familiarize students with the furniture design and construction.
