ïf Postgraduate Studies in “Intensive Care Unit - Nursing in Cardiology”
The Medical School
of National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Nursing
Department of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens,
organized and operated since the academic year 2004-05 Postgraduate
Program (MSc program) on the “Intensive Care Unit - Nursing in
Cardiology”.
The objectives of
this Postgraduate Program are education, promotion of knowledge and
research in Intensive Care Unit and in Nursing in Cardiology.
More specifically this Postgraduate Program aims to educate and specialize new scientists in this broad and expanding area of Medicine and Nursing science.
Graduates of this program can:
- Staff Intensive care Units.
- Staff Cardiac Care Units and cardiac departments in the public and private sector.
- Be employed in posts that require high levels of knowledge and skills in the subject.
- Prepare students for doctorate level studies.
- Become specialized in this subject area.
The program leads to the award of the postgraduate degree in “Intensive Care Unit - Nursing in Cardiology”.
In this Postgraduate Program
are accepted, if able to successfully attend the course, graduates of
Medicine, Nursing from both the University and the Technological
Educational Institute and other related fields from national or overseas
accredited higher Educational Institutions.
