COURSE DESCRIPTION
Lectures on the evolution of ceramic art. Students after gaining knowledge of material properties will be in a position to test color for slips and glazes. In practical exercises they will acquire skills in the design and manufacture of user-friendly, stylish ceramics.
Students will create small-scale projects to foster the aesthetic concerns about decorations: large scale applications on floors and walls.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
